What I've learned

I've learned that when you're in Amsterdam you should probably go to the Anne Frank House instead of going to the Pancake House next door.

What have you learned, dear reader? Talk to me.

I've learned that my 5-year-old niece, Sidney, can cry on demand. and that my 2-year-old niece, Juliette, is such a ham that when she sees lightening flash she says "cheese"

Thanks for playing along Caroline. I love the lightening thing! Very cute.

yes, but am I spelling "lightening" correctly? Seriously. I have been doing nothing but watching Bridezillas and playing with our pet Roomba, Puff Puff. I'm pretty sure it's "lightning"...oh wait. I was spelling it the Arkansan way.

If there's a half-hour wait to get in the Anne Frank House and you can get pancakes right away -- well, you do the math.

Is THAT why we didn't go into Anne's house? I thought it was because it cost 12 guilder. Memory's not so good. But the pancakes were.

Amsterdam taught me that you shouldn't smoke a bunch of pot before you go to the Van Gogh museum.
It also taught me how to pronounce gouda.
